Welcome to Elmstead Nursery

We are a children’s Nursery offering continuous day care and education for children aged from 2 ½ to 4 years, serving Elmstead Market and the surrounding area.

We are registered for 26 children to attend at any one time. We are open 5 days a week, 9am to 3.30pm, term time only.

The Nursery is situated within the grounds of Elmstead Primary School, with which we have close links. It is run by the Teacher/Manager, Mrs Sandra Davison, and a team of experienced and dedicated professionals, most of whom have been with us for a good number of years.

Our aim is that every child will experience a broad and balanced curriculum, in an environment that is happy, caring and stimulating.

The Nursery is housed in a purpose-built, bright and spacious building. The interior is open plan and has various activity areas such as a reading corner, role play area, creative table and water play.

We also have a large outdoor play area comprising of a grassed area with play equipment, a mud kitchens and a sandpit. A covered section enables outdoor play in all weathers.  We also have a wildlife area, which encourages the children to explore and learn about nature.
